• Review and make suggestions of teacher-created virtual AP courses prior to submission to NYS virtual course repository

  • Using a project developed rubric, review virtual AP courses in alignment with the NYSED VAP Program guidelines for:

    • completeness

    • delivery of content

    • student/teacher support

    • alignment to standards

    • academic rigor

    • adherence to principles of universal design and accessibility

    • practical cost of adoption

    • seat time requirements and assessment via AP exams

    • alignment to standards (iNacol, ISTE and Common Core).

  • All critical review committee members will receive training from iNacol on the review process.

  • Critical review committee will include teachers, AP coordinators, project staff, representation from ETLO and College Board as well as other constituents to be determined.
