Review and make suggestions of teacher-created virtual AP courses prior to submission to NYS virtual course repository
Using a project developed rubric, review virtual AP courses in alignment with the NYSED VAP Program guidelines for:
completeness
delivery of content
student/teacher support
alignment to standards
academic rigor
adherence to principles of universal design and accessibility
practical cost of adoption
seat time requirements and assessment via AP exams
alignment to standards (iNacol, ISTE and Common Core).
All critical review committee members will receive training from iNacol on the review process.
Critical review committee will include teachers, AP coordinators, project staff, representation from ETLO and College Board as well as other constituents to be determined.
