The VAP Program provides innovative solutions to transform teaching, learning, and leading with real-word, standards-based curriculum enhancements. This professional development will prepare Advanced Placement teachers with the skills, knowledge and expertise to enhance instruction.
Day 1: Leading with 21st Century Tools
Develop skills and use tools to create a vision of a 21st Century Classroom that will enhance teaching and learning in your school. Training in the use of digital tools will provide teachers with the skills to use their device as an organizational, productivity and communication tool. In this session educators will explore the potential of the MacBook as a tool for instruction, planning and management.

Day 2: Blended Learning Models & Screencasts
Enhance the Blended Classroom with 21st Century Online Tools
In this session educators will develop skills and use tools to navigate the blended learning classroom that will enhance teaching and learning in your school. Educators will explore the various models of blended learning and will use Screencast and Quicktime to create and share screencasts.

Day 3: Orchestrating the Blended Learning Classroom In this session educators will explore the power of online communication and collaborative tools to:
Create documents using Google Drive’s Docs, Spreadsheet & Forms which can be shared or embed with anyone, any time
Use Google Voice to communicate with students and parents
